The C-XF concept car signals the onset of a new era for Jaguar. A stunning, four-door sports saloon which blends purity with unmistakable dynamism, the C-XF is a clear indication of the design direction that the next generations of Jaguar saloons will take.

As a striking interpretation of the design values that are the bedrock of every great Jaguar, the C-XF is wholly contemporary yet succeeds in paying homage to its renowned predecessors.

The C-XF is a performance-oriented sports saloon that is still inherently practical and capable or carrying four people in total comfort, it has an edginess that exudes a sense of underlying menace and of course, luxury.

This past July, Englewood Jaguar teamed up with the National Amusements Edgewater Multiplex Cinemas in sponsoring a “Weekend’s Use of a Jaguar” prize. X-TYPE: BEST SELLER GETS EVEN BETTER

Price of X-TYPE 3.0 is reduced and standard features are improved.

(Republished from Winter 2003 Edition of Jaguar Magazine.)

Jaguar's X-TYPE may be the best-selling Jaguar in history, but for 2004, the all-wheel drive compact luxury sedan is being made even more appealing. In a bold move, Jaguar has realigned the price of the 3.0 liter V6 X-TYPE and added equipment worth over $2,000.

"The aim here is to widen the appeal of our flagship X-TYPE and reposition it into the heart of the compact luxury sedan market," explains George Ayres, Jaguar North America's Vice President of Marketing.

The 2004 X-TYPE 3.0 will be equipped as standard with a power moonroof, a split-folding rear seat, a wood/leather steering wheel, 2 extra speakers for the standard 120-watt audio system and auto-on headlamps; equipment valued at $2,225. And, by popular request, all X-TYPE models for 2004 gain an additional front cup-holder.

The X-TYPE 3.0 is already one of the best-equipped cars in its class; standard features include a five-speed automatic transmission, 17-inch alloy wheels (a new design for 2004.), leather upholstery, sapele wood trim and an eight-way power adjustable driver's seat. It also continues to be the only car in the premium compact segment with all-wheel drive as standard.

X-TYPE FROM ENGLEWOOD JAGUAR TOPS LIST OF PRIZES AT AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY GOLF TOURNAMENT

Don Rodgers (seated in car), of Hewlett, N.Y., checks out the new Jaguar he won in a raffle at the American Cancer Society’s 25th annual Bergen County Golf Tournament.

Pictured with Rodgers in the showroom at Englewood Jaguar are (left to right): Jerry Hannon, regional vice president for the American Cancer Society, and Christopher Kaefer from Englewood Jaguar.

Hundreds of golfers teed off recently at the 25th annual Bergen County Golf Tournament, sponsored by Jaguar Cars of Mahwah, at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus to benefit the American Cancer Society.

Since its inception, the Bergen County Golf Tournament has raised record funds for lifesaving American Cancer Society research, programs and services that benefit cancer patients and their families in North Jersey.  Attracting 208 golfers this year, the event raised more than $345,000 to help support American Cancer Society programs such as Road to Recovery, which provides free round-trip transportation to doctor visits and treatments, and Man-to-Man, a prostate cancer education and support program that offers community-based group education, discussion and support for men with prostate cancer.

Contributing to the event’s success was a raffle for a 2003 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 courtesy of Jaguar Cars of Mahwah and Englewood Jaguar and a wildly successful silent and live auction that raised over $42,000.  Some of the items up for bid included: a Pebble Beach golf package; Cartier watch; U.S. Open tennis package; personally autographed Arnold Palmer photograph; as well as golf packages to some of the area’s most prestigious country clubs.

The American Cancer Society is dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by saving lives, diminishing suffering and preventing cancer through research, education, advocacy and service. Founded in 1913 and with national headquarters in Atlanta, the Society has 17 regional Divisions and local offices in 3,400 communities, involving millions of volunteers across the United States.
